Hi, I’m Clara Marie Lüders, an AI / ML engineer and data scientist who enjoys turning complex problems into practical, data-driven solutions.

I currently work at OPTANO as an analytics software engineer, where I develop software for operations research problems such as inventory management and network optimisation. In addition, I do in-house AI consulting, helping to integrate AI and LLMs into OPTANO’s products and workflows in a way that adds value.

Before that, I completed my PhD in Computer Science at the University of Hamburg, focusing on how large language models (LLMs) can improve software engineering and issue tracking processes.

With a background in mathematics, deep learning, and applied AI, I like approaching problems from multiple angles. My focus is on making AI useful for people, whether through intelligent automation, better decision support, or improving efficiency in complex systems.

Outside of work, I like practising karate, playing video games, solving escape rooms or learning languages.
